William Fulbright, Strom Thurmond, Craig Hosmer, Henry A. Kissinger, Melvid R. Laird, William E. Timmons, Peter M. Flanigan, Anne L. Armstrong, Roy L. Ash, Helmut ("Hal") Sonnenfeldt, and Thomas C. Korologos, met in the Cabinet Room of the White House from 11:45 am to 12:29 pm. The Cabinet Room taping system captured this recording, which is known as Conversation 127-001 of the White House Tapes.
