Thank you.
It's done?
Yeah, it's done.
I'm going to take a couple of them.
We have one over here.
This is a traditional photograph.
All right.
Wonderful.
I would say, I don't know what you're going to say.
I don't know what you're going to say.
I'm sorry.
How much drug?
We have an interesting by-law of the women's campaign where we last visited four states.
We can't decide.
Each of us is Vice President of 10th or 5th or 5th state.
And we're going to make the state vote for you.
If you do any type of job at all and you try to get support outside of that area,
It worked out that on the 13th ballot
That happened at 2 o'clock in the morning.
Oh, I know.
They come up and they're out.
And he brought most of his support to the meeting.
You heard that first question.
He had to be elected, aren't you?
He must be Dr.
Proud of what he's done.
He's a great senator, Mr.
Proud of what he's done.
He's one of the youngest presidents to ever be elected.
If they existed.
Okay.
How old are you?
I'm 20.
Yeah.
You still got seven years to go.
How old are you?
I'm 32.
Yeah.
That's still in the 50 years.
Well, that's great.
What part of it?
From the north.
Just that?
I don't know.
I've been on it.
There's a little town in New Martinsville, which is about 65 miles.
I'm in the retail part of it.
Oh, yeah.
I see.
Martinsville is called New Martinsville.
There's a Martinsville in Virginia.
Virginia.
That's why ours is New Martinsville.
I requested or called a few friends when the decision was made on mining the harbor.
And the response there was 98% positive.
I think organizationally, you know, this maximum project that can be tied right in with all the
I don't mean you don't, you're trying to say to somebody, don't vote because you're going to be against it.
You can't.
Everybody draws that, but that's what it is.
You don't know if you can get your own vote out because they're going to get their own vote out.
But we're sending mail to every JC in the country, and we're asking them to get five friends or neighbors to work with us.
That's right.
Half of the ACs would be American.
Oh, yes.
More than that.
More than that.
85 to 99%.
I think we're less concerned about the beauty page than the certain issues and we're more concerned about the social issues.
simply means that you have been solving people's problems throughout the country.
And the federal dollars that we have in the area of alcohol abuse, environment, and drug abuse will be establishing a network of communications which will touch practically every community in this country.
You're working with something like Herb and Agnes too, don't you?
Yeah, we get involved in that type of situation.
As far as what we've done, U.S. J.C. has seen what we've done.
We haven't done too much in that area that state organizations have.
They're closer to the problem.
Pennsylvania J.C.'s, I think, has worked well after our honor.
We had a flood in our hometown.
I live in Everam.
I'm down.
When I came back to the convention, I ended up having over three feet of water in the stores.
But I've been working here as far as north of
where I live.
It's really disastrous in Harrisburg and Eastern Pennsylvania.
An area that I've given a lot of thought to, and I know you've given a lot of thought to, is the Vice Centennial Committee.
I'd like to offer our services on that committee.
Incidentally, I don't know if I've referenced the case.
You can forget it.
You can tell them all.
It's an excellent idea.
and he'll welcome the opportunity to put one of your real donors on, you know, a real donor.
But I didn't pick a vice president or something like that, or, you know, I wouldn't do that.
I might need you to go to a past, a recent current past officer.
How do I prove?
You have to serve through the vice.
That's right.
That's another thing you could do.
You could pick a past president.
That's right.
I know a vice president would be heavy on the hands of mine, but you could pick a past president.
That'd be perfect.
You give them a good name, and Mahoney will put them on.
We'd like to help.
I think the one thing that would be great, the one thing that would put the organization together is patriotism and love for this country.
Sure.
And I know the chairmen would be very eager to read it.
Well, they're trying to make it still.
Right after the election, we'll start pushing this harder.
It's a sort of political moment there, where the Congress is afraid to give us the money for fear of the will.
and then we're down to our magic bulletin, but if we had to get going on it fast, because the bicentennial takes four years to plan at least.
Now with regard to that, it's going to be intentional too.
We're gonna have to have, we're gonna wanna have something in every state, rather than center concentration.
I had the idea of just having something in, well, having it concentrated in Philadelphia.
Philadelphia could put up a dome,
and they're going to have a celebration.
But since it is national, that means it was a national organization for you.
I received many memories and individual patients and chapters asking, could they do it?
Well, you check with Mary and get all the information you can.
He didn't start.
He was on the scene two days ago.
He's a very upbeat and optimistic kind of guy.
And he could...
He would be a very good one as not only to come to address your convention next year.
So I started in the good humor.
That's great.
I started in the entire great convention in Minneapolis next year.
Oh, yeah.
It was a beautiful city.
Beautiful at that time of year, too.
Great.
They have a famous festival, a water festival at that time of year.
I was once there for it.
I advise you.
Why didn't you appear in Atlanta?
They wouldn't have let you speak for 30 minutes down there.
Yeah!
I mean, he didn't call for me to say Louis.
He didn't even know.
That was one of the things that happened.
One of those movie experiences I had to say Louis.
Oh, it was.
That was really great.
Oh, we've got to give you a badge.
We have wives too.
Is she here?
She said, I don't hate you for anything you do, but this is one time that I hate you.
A year and a half.
A year and a half.
A couple of pens for the kids.
He's got a year and a half, a year and a half.
And a journal, yeah.
Every gentleman has a color at the convention down there.
Thank you for investing in me.
And I already told you, I'm a liar.
I need to ride on the shoulders of my followers.
And we can do that to you a lot easier than you think.
I wish you the very best with that.
It's also a good time.
It's a good time.
It's a good time.
It's a good time.
It's a good time.
Thank you.
