Sohmer, Arthur J.

Arthur J. Sohmer served as the chief of staff and assistant to Vice President Spiro T. Agnew from 1969 until Agnew's resignation in 1973. In this capacity, he was a participant in various high-level meetings and conversations within the Nixon administration. His presence is documented in the White House tapes on several occasions between 1971 and 1973.
