Nidecker, John E.

John E. Nidecker served in the Nixon administration as a Deputy Special Assistant for Congressional Affairs, a role he was appointed to in 1969 and held until 1975. Early in the administration, as of August 1969, he was in charge of special projects for the congressional liaison staff. During the taping period, he was present in numerous recorded conversations, where he was sometimes identified as a White House photographer, a role likely related to his attendance at photo opportunities with the President.
