Wilson, Robert C. ("Bob")

Robert C. ("Bob") Wilson was a Republican Congressman from California who served throughout the Nixon administration. During the taping period, he represented California's 36th congressional district, which changed to the 40th district in January 1973. A significant figure within the Republican party, Wilson also held the position of Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee until 1973, a role that involved him in strategic party discussions.
