Malek, Frederic V.

Frederic V. Malek served as a key management strategist for the Nixon administration, professionalizing the recruitment of political appointees as Director of the White House Personnel Office from September 1970 to January 1973. During the 1972 election cycle, he also acted as Deputy Director of the Committee for the Re-election of the President from July to November 1972, where he managed the 'Responsiveness Program' to leverage federal resources for the campaign. In February 1973, he was appointed Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget, a role he maintained until the end of the Nixon presidency in August 1974.
