David, Edward E., Jr. (Dr.)

Dr. Edward E. David Jr. served as the Science Advisor to President Richard M. Nixon and the Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology from August 1970 until January 1973. His entire tenure occurred during the White House taping period, where he was the primary scientific voice in the administration. He also held the positions of Chairman of the President's Science Advisory Committee and Chairman of the Federal Council for Science and Technology during this time.
